The sporty R-Line package that has proven popular on other Volkswagen models over the years is now being offered on the VW Tiguan. The Tiguan dressed out in all its R-Line finery was introduced at the recent Los Angeles auto show and will go on sale at Chapman Volkswagen Scottsdale in the first quarter of 2018. The package includes 19-inch Trenton alloy wheels for the SEL model and 20-inch Braselton wheels for those choosing the Tiguan with the SEL Premium trim package. R-Line Features Prominent on Interior

It sports a logo when the Modular Infotainment Platform audio and communication system starts up, as well as a dynamic badge on the steering wheel, black headliner, R-Line logo on the stainless steel door sills and stainless sport pedal covers. The R-Line package utilizes the standard 2.0L turbocharged engine that, when coupled with the eight-speed automatic transmission, provides some thrilling driving dynamics. Advanced 4Motion all-wheel drive is also available on the R-Line models. The R-Line also comes with Park Distance Control for both the front and rear on the SEL model. That feature is already included on SEL Premium models.
