Volkswagen Sales on the Rise

Buoyed by the release of the new full-size Atlas and compact Tiguan SUVs, Volkswagen enjoyed a 4 percent increase in June sales from the previous year. The company sold 512,700 vehicles worldwide in June, with especially strong sales in the USA, China and South America. “The Volkswagen brand saw worldwide deliveries increase in June as well as overall for the first half of the year and recorded strong growth in China and other key regions,” according to Jurgen Stackmann, VW board member. “In the USA, the Atlas got off to a successful start in the first two months of sales and helped the brand outpace market growth.” See the new Atlas, redesigned Tiguan and the entire VW lineup at Chapman Volkswagen in Scottsdale.
